1. Who we are
PricingLens is an automated pricing audit and competitor price monitoring service for SaaS companies (the Service). The Service is provided to you from an account operated by Universal Global Services (UK corporate entity, EU/UK VAT via Ireland OSS). TODO(S8): confirm exact legal entity name, company registration number and registered office address with the Chairman before public launch.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: when you register or log in, we process your email address and authentication information.
- Audit requests: the product name, pricing page URL and category you submit for a pricing audit, plus the competitor pricing page URLs you ask us to monitor.
- Audit results: extracted pricing tiers, prices, features, comparison matrices, alerts and recommendations generated for you. We do not fabricate competitor data; where data is too limited we return an honest not-enough-data result.
- Feedback: if you send feedback or a support message, we keep the content and your contact email.
- Usage data: quotas, product, competitor and alert records needed to operate the Service and prevent abuse.
3. How we use your data
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service, including running audits and monitoring competitor price changes.
- To send service emails, audit notifications and price alerts.
- To enforce quotas and platform rules.
- To respond to support, privacy and billing requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your submitted pricing pages to change your prices: PricingLens provides audits and recommendations, it never sets your prices automatically.
4. Legal bases
We process personal data on the basis of the contract with you (to provide the Service), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and product improvement), and your consent where required for optional communications.
5. Sharing and sub-processors
- Payments and tax: Stripe processes payments and, where applicable, VAT through Stripe Tax. EU B2B customers may benefit from reverse charge by providing a valid VAT ID.
- Infrastructure: your data is stored on our hosting infrastructure and processed through our internal LLM gateway for audit analysis. These providers receive only the data needed to deliver the Service.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Security
We apply tenant isolation using per-tenant database row-level security, encrypt traffic in transit, restrict access controls, run secret scanning, and maintain backups and monitoring. No secrets are committed to source code.
7. Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may export or delete your data through your account settings. Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, rectify, export, restrict, object to or erase personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights email [email protected].
